Saint Joseph's Parish, Howard and 10th, San Francisco

This is Saint Joseph's Church. The Church was built in 1913, and became a very vibrant Irish parish. However, due to the manhattinization of San Francisco and the emigration of families to the suburbs, this Parish eventually moved down the street to Saint Patrick's Parish (a church that is larger andd a bit older), and St. Joseph's Church was closed down. It is in poor condition right now due to neglect. Let us pray that it will once again be reopened and the pews will be filled with parishoners.
